I’ve discovered, the world over, that the subject often becomes secondary for me, the light is what truly pulls me in. It struck me how much of my work seems to focus on the fringes, the edges of light. That's where I find something I can't quite put into words.
I’m drawn to soft, flat light and cool blue tones, but it’s the edges, the in-between spaces that carry a kind of magic. On the edge of twilight, the boundary of a shadow, or the cusp of a highlight, these are the moments where wonder resides. This series is shot over 10 years from around the world. Shot on Hasselblad, Canon and fuji.
